Day 6

Philadelphia! Exploring and learning about America. Phillies game to end the day!
Rocky steps!
Liberty Bell
Independence Hall-we went on a tour inside to see where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were signed.
Listening to the tour guide!
Here's where the meetings and signings all happened!! So neat!
George Washington
Benjamin Franklin's grave
You can pay to get into the graveyard or you can see his grave for free from the sidewalk!
We couldn't take pictures inside the Mint on our self guided tour, but it was really cool to watch and learn how the coins are made!!!!
I don't think I go your hand Austin?! Haha! He loves to photobomb! :)
Home of Betsy Ross. Of course I didn't get a picture of the front of the house!
Betsy Ross is buried outside her home.
Elfreth's Alley. Oldest street in the U.S. that is still being lived on! Katelynn said "I wouldn't like all these people walking by my house!" There is a cobblestone road and the homes are super tiny and close together!
We stayed near the ballpark. The walk was a little interesting to stay on a sidewalk, but not bad and saves money!
The Philadephia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers all share a huge parking lot.
Austin loves the Eagles! He said he was sad walking by the football stadium as he wants to see a game now!
Phillies game!!
We did as the locals do. Philly cheesesteak with cheez wiz! And crabfries....which were good, but we found out its just the seasoning on the fries that they use on crab. It comes from the leftover seasoning they had when summer was over and they didn't serve crab anymore!

The Liberty Bell lights up for home runs and wins! We saw 3 home runs and a win!

Song of the day: Star Spangled Banner
